Made For You: A Small Town, Marriage of Convenience Romance (Sunny Brook Farms Book 3) Kindle Edition
Talon Beckett was a domineering billionaire with a steely-blue gaze that made me forget my own name. It was my excuse for agreeing to his terms…that and he agreed to play up our recent vows when we attended my ex’s wedding.
We both decided that we’d go our separate ways when our six months were up. He’d get full control of his bank account and the hotel chain that bore his mother’s maiden name, and I’d get whatever I needed in return.
When our time was coming to an end, I realized the one thing I wanted was something he had no desire to give. It was the affectionate side he’d kept hidden from everyone despite his need to say, “My Wife” when we were out in public. And as I crossed the days off the calendar, it was harder to remember that our marriage wasn’t real. Especially when we needed to sign those termination papers.
I feared I’d lose not only my new last name and job, but my heart along the way.
**This is book 3 in the Sunny Brook Farms Series. Each one can be read as a complete standalone. Always an HEA!**

- Reviewed in the United States on February 13, 2024This talented wordsmith is someone whose work is still fairly new to me, and I’m so glad to have found her. She gives us warm, welcoming book worlds and endearing characters. It's small-town romance at its finest.
When Aurora Easterly leaves her small Tennessee town and returns to Miami for her second teachers’ conference, she has no idea what's in store for her. She hopes to learn about agricultural grants for some of her students but returns home with a brand new Mrs. degree. Of course, it's not a “real" marriage, and only for six months.
Talon Beckett's grandfather, the matriarch of Wilder Hotels, is not a nice man, and old fashioned enough to insist the heir to the hotel chain be married. Talon is the rightful heir to the family's hotels. He's the one who has worked hard and brought them into the 21st Century, and his uncle is determined to take over. Aurora is the perfect woman to help him out. What Talon doesn’t expect is to genuinely like Aurora, her family, and her small town.
Aurora is amazing! Her family may view her as the baby and feel the need to protect her, but she's her own woman. She’s smart and kind, and has no problem nicely but firmly sticking it to a conference line-jumper. She's Talon's perfect counterpoint in every way.
Talon may think he’s the big city, never marry, billionaire type, but Ashfield, TN, and the Easterly family work some kind of small-town, farming magic on him. He finds something peaceful and satisfying he never realized he was longing for.
I loved everything about this one – the small town, Aurora's family, the colorful locals, and Talon's grandmother, Gigi. There are so many entertaining scenes that really bring the story alive, and a surprising serendipitous connection that stole what was left of my heart. Charming, heartfelt, humorous, and hot, you'll love every minute you spend in this world. I guarantee these characters will abscond with your heart, so don’t miss it!
- Reviewed in the United States on February 23, 2024A contract marriage that ended so much better than it could have. Talon was a bit of a jerk and Aurora seemed like she needed to find her center to really figure out what she wanted so once these 2 got together it all fell in place
- Reviewed in the United States on February 20, 2024Made For You is the 3rd book in the Sunny Brooks Farm series, but it can be read as a standalone.
Renee is a new author for me, I will definitely be going back and reading the rest of the books in this series. I loved Aurora and Talon’s story. Nothing like a good forced proximity, single bed, marriage of convenience, Grumpy/sunshine, opposites attract, small town, and billionaire romance to have you flipping the pages. While these two had the worst meet cute, and the slowest burn at the beginning of the book you could feel the tension building and their undeniable chemistry. Then bam, there is a sexiness, sassiness, and a fun banter with the two of them. This broody alpha male was just full of so many surprises. Especially one down below. I loved that even through all the ups, downs and drama that surrounded them they trusted each other implicitly. In a short amount of time they saw each other for who they were, and they could read each other so well. Which made their story so much more. I loved that he called her peaches. I loved his Gigi and best friend. They provided good comedic relief. and the bonus content was just perfect. Great read.

Made For You is the third book of the Sunny Brook Farms series of interconnected standalones. This was my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it…looking forward to reading more by them! This was a quick read that I was able to finish in less than a day. It was sweet and spicy!
Talon is in the need of a bride so he can become CEO of his family’s hotel chain. I loved his grumpy and broody attitude and that he fell so hard for Aurora! Aurora is a small town teacher and was is sweet and a go with the flow kind of girl. The chemistry between these two was off the charts! I loved watching their relationship grow and to see these two be exactly what the other needed. I love finding new to me authors and I am looking forward to reading more of Renee’s work!

- Reviewed in the United States on April 4, 2024Aurora finds herself propositioned by Talon, a stranger, who needs to get married ASAP in order to take over as CEO of his family’s hotel business. The contract states they are to be married only for 6 months, and then they’ll divorce, leaving Aurora 1 million dollars richer. They must play as a real couple in front of the cameras and family, but can’t get actually attached to each other. However, Talon finds himself falling for Aurora more each day, and begins to wonder if he’s set himself up for heartbreak. Aurora has felt a strong connection with Talon since first meeting him, but worries he’ll leave her high and dry for his role of CEO.
Made For You is a steamy, cute marriage of convenience and small town romance. I liked the premise and definitely felt the chemistry between the characters. Unfortunately, I thought it was a tad too fast paced than I expected, and there were several moments I felt immense second hand embarrassment or cringed at the events unfolding in front of my eyes. For example, early on in the book, Aurora confronts a woman being rude to a hotel employee, and after the most benign tongue lashing to ever exist, everyone clapped…literally. I almost DNF’ed right there, I cringed so hard. I just couldn’t believe that whole event was written with such seriousness. I also expected more conflict between Talon and Aurora, or a bigger problem that had a real chance of tearing them apart, but everything felt like a nonissue and was resolved within sentences. I think I just wanted more substance to this story, therefore it fell a little flat for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Marriage of convenience and all the feels
I think Talon and Rory might be my favourite Renee couple so far.
I was hooked from the second I picked this book up and read it in one day.
Talon is the soic hotel owner who presents Rory with an offer she can't refuse, six months, a fake marriage, and he will pay her one million dollars. What's she got to lose?!
Rory and Talon have the most sizzling chemistry, and I loved every second of their blossoming relationship.
Talon is obsessed with Rory, and this book has all of the MY WIFE moments you could ever want.
This book is sweet and spicy and has the perfect blend of small-town, marriage of convenience, and billionaire vibes to create an amazing story
